September 25, 2009 - On September 24, 2009, the United States Senate once again passed a bill to extend the current FAA programs, including the Aiport Improvement Program (AIP) that was set to expire on September 30th. The Senate bill, entitled the Fiscal Year 2010 Federal Aviation Administration Extension Act, only extends the progream by three months, until December 31, 2009.
