T.K. Gwin joins Jviation as a State Liaison



T.K. Gwin joins Jviation as a State Liaison. Gwin will be responsible for broadening Jviation’s statewide program development services. He will focus on information management innovation in support of Jviation’s statewide planning projects.

Gwin brings more than 40 years of experience as aviation management professional. He has been responsible for multiple innovative solutions to unique aviation problems while serving in several key positions. After serving in the Air Force he became the airfield manager at Edwards AFB, home to the Air Force Flight Test Center. He was the Shuttle Landing Facility Operations Officer for NASA at Kennedy Space Center and spent over 17 years with the Colorado Division of Aeronautics, starting as the State Airports Engineer and retiring as the Grants Program Manager. He has managed many leading-edge projects. One of the most recent was the development of the Division’s Web-based Information Management System (WIMS). This system allows each airport the ability to manage their CIP, grant requests, grant administration, monitor tax disbursements and create individual sustainability plans unique to each facility.
